And who was it that pointed him in the right direction?sixspeed said:He actually contacted me a week or two before the day, as he'd seen the car parked up in town one night and had put a post on PH asking if anyone knew who the owner was...

sixspeed said:I shouldn't keep replying (talking) to myself, but looking at the graph reminded me of another observation - which was the slight flat-spot/dip on my power curve between 6000-6250RPM...
Can't say I've noticed it when driving, but it was very apparent on the dyno. Could be a down-side of the filter, perhaps? Hard to say without replacing parts back to stock and doing the runs again to compare, which would be nice to do sometime.

Here's mine for comparison
(Please note the scales are slightly different)

Looks like v little difference in peak torque figs, but sixspeeds looks a bit flatter overall.
Maybe we should do a group Z4M trip to a Rolling Road - Surrey or Austec in Gatwick? - and with a mix of cars, from completely stock, to ones with just one non-stock item each, ie filter, exhaust, then could get a reasonable idea of what difference the mods make?
JayD said:That is almost identical to what mine made at Thorney's it was 332 something, mileage was about 8000 I think. What has yours done now?
Jason White said:So what happened to the comparison? Did it ever happen? I'm interested because I had my car at SRR today and it produced 349 hp without any mods which surprised me, especially as the only reason I took it was due to a lack of faith in the torque I felt it was producing - again a major surprise.
