The counter point is that he actually worked for the leave campaign or do you mean someone from the remain camp that’s changed their mind, in that being part of the EU isn’t the best deal going and who supports May’s fantastic one
ben g said:I voted leave, but as the process has dragged on so long, I think it's probably only right that the public get a vote on the FINAL deal (if it comes to that).
99% of people I know who voted leave, voted that way due to immigration, which is pretty much what the entire leave campaign was based on.
Now to put across a deal which gives freedom of movement to all pretty much makes their votes worthless. Seems like it was a complete waste of time if you ask me.
I'd be happy to have another vote, but I don't think anyone should be called a racist for wanting to leave the EU, nor be called a snowflake for wanting to remain.

It certainly has!
A friend and colleague of thirty years referred to me as as a traitor because of my pro Eu opinion. The chap got very heated during his regular rants.
One of his rants centred around “make our own laws” but could never specify one of the “silly “ Eu laws he banged on about.
He got so rude and abusive I’ve just blocked his number. I find it sad that an otherwise intelligent fella could react in such a juvenile/ yobbish way.
jabber said:The abuse from both sides has definitely got out of hand I will be glad when it’s over whatever the outcome.
The next general election should be interesting

Yeah, they’ll be lucky to get 52 votes, let alone 52%

People were told the referendum was a “once in a lifetime chance” Ron, they can’t have it both ways.

You can’t think of it the other way around. The vote was to do something unknown or maintain the status quo.
