We have spent the day getting it dirty. :driving:

+1 weather’s awful up here just now and got V5 so managed to put private plate on too
Weather was not too bad down south, a bit cloudy, better than the traffic on the 303 for sure. We turned off accross country. Currently sat in a hotel at the back of Silverstone. Off to Bletchley Park tommorrow. Always wanted to visit, finally got around to it. :D

Lucky you, sounds like a good few days and hope you have a good day tomorrow

Unfortunately persisting with rain here

So much for your man flu then

I've still got it - it's one thing coughing and spluttering in the car on your own, but I don't think anyone would enjoy that going on while eating their breakfast!

Yesterday, I treated the coupe to a Dodo Juice triple!

. Born to be mild- shampoo
. Lime prime- pre-wax cleanse/polish
. Hard candy- wax.

Two hours crammed down the side of the car in the garage, picking off all the sticky rubber bits from the wheels where the old weights were stuck on before the tyre change. Then a polish and finish off with two layers of Poorboys Sealant.
Now back in the house trying to prove my theory that Becks is a suitable lubricant for seized knee joints. :D

Neat plate.

Thanks, just bought it in November. Funnily enough when I knew I was going to buy a Z4 I wanted a dateless plate rather than either assigning any of my cherished plates.

This appeared on eBay and I came across it accidentally. I was looking for my own initials but this is mine and my kids initials, the numbers are just random.

Got it out of the garage, noticed how filthy it was, climbed the ladder, put the Christmas tree away and then put it back.

Sacrilege really. I’ll take it out tomorrow for a blast. I’m nearly at the run in mileage now and then the real fun can begin.

Yesterday I had a very productive day working on the e85!

I replaced the front bumper for a better / freshly painted one, I replaced the mudguards with brand new mudguards (front and rear) I adjusted the hardtop to reduce wind noise and gave the car a good well overdue clean!

I just need to buy and fit a new badge to the front bumper! 😁

Where did you find the new mud guards? I have been looking for a long time!

Cleaned the car and finally finished and happy with setup, changing bits etc.

Things I’ve done exterior:

blacked out grill, yellow brake callipers, new grooved disks and painted hub area silver, black alloy wheel nut cap covers, back box exhaust delete, 15mm rear wheel spacers, 10mm front wheel spacers, 245/40 and 225/40 sport 4 michelins, front fog lamp delete, stub radio arial, blacked out side reflectors on front bumper. Car was already lowered and alloys gun metal when I bought.

I found a nice chap on the forum selling them months ago, they were brand new still in original boxes but did cost me £80 for both pairs 😓

They aren’t to everyone taste but my car came with them and they either needed replacing or removing and I didn’t like the holes left in the bumpers so I replaced. I do quite like them to be honest 👍

I might put my old ones up for sale soon if you’d be interested? The fronts are half decent but backs are shot.

Hi, I’m surprised at that-genuine bmw mudflaps need holes drilling into the bumpers in order to fit? :o

They require 2 or 3 screws into the edge of the bumper / body with some of those U Clips to take the screw and then a few plastic rivets.
