Full year figures for 2011 show that national newspapers declined by 7.1 per cent, regional newspapers by 9.6 per cent and magazines by 8.5 per cent. Business to business magazines were the worst hit, dropping by 14.6 per cent in 2011.
There was a general full year growth of 1.6% so far this year and 2013 is expected to show further growth.
