Bing have you actually checked for shrinkage? I am sure they do, but by my recollection, the rain is a cool wash and therefore not a hot wash, so chances are the wool may shrink a little but not too much!

This is a good point - what about Malaysian sheep, or those in other tropical countries where the rain is warm though, huh ?

Yeah and the Scottish budget will be 5.95 per episode, so you'll be watching a show where the presenters will be reading a copy of Autocar, with the studio lights off!!
 
Sheep do not shrink as their wool is high in lanolin which is a fantastic water proofer. The water doesn't get to their skin when they have a full coat.
 
The sheeps wool doesnt shrink because it is still attached to the sheep and is therefore "alive" what may appear to be shrinkage is infact the skin folicles contracting and thus pulling in each fibre in reaction to temperature change, thus giving the impression of shrinkage.

Do we think in the next 20 years that magazines and newspapers will disappear altogether? And just be electronic versions? Don't fish too much into this, but look a porn mags....apparently nobody buys them anymore because of what is available online!! 8)

I'd imagine it's a similar story to the US.
They used to have much larger notes in the early days, such as $10,000 but stopped them because it's far harder for drug dealers and the like to transport millions of dollars when it's in smaller denominations.

No didnt think so!

Full year figures for 2011 show that national newspapers declined by 7.1 per cent, regional newspapers by 9.6 per cent and magazines by 8.5 per cent. Business to business magazines were the worst hit, dropping by 14.6 per cent in 2011.
There was a general full year growth of 1.6% so far this year and 2013 is expected to show further growth.

I'm boring myself now. :D
