The OEM antena looks like a CB radio mast :P So the stubby is definitely an improvement looks wise :thumbsup: I don't use my radio so not really bothered by the poor reception :D

Roadster vs coupe, coupe vs roadster ..... fighting like a couple of tomcats, if you look up out of your sandbox for a minute you'll see me drive by in my convertible hardtop,...with a stubby AND the OEM aerial (I keep it in the boot :P ) E85/86 ??? tres passe mes amis. Ya'll need a E89........... with a stubby :fuelfire: :fuelfire:

I like that you keep an emergency aerial in your Car. BMW forgot to include that in the kit 8)

I keep my whip aerial in the boot too, lest I have any emergency need for a whip :D
 
hardly use the radio.... so i'd be happy with the areal totally removed.

But got something between the stock and stubby on mine (S2K aerial)
 
Two days in, five to go, 71 votes so far and a whole heap of thread carnage that's even dipped into the classic 'roadster vs coupe'/'Scotland has no radio' debates...this is going to be an interesting result.

I was thinking of going to a stubby, not because I like the look but because every time I put the cover over it I need to take the bloody areial off :(
 
I solved that problem a long tim ago, just poke a hole in the cover to stick the aerial through, some car covers have little patches ready made with the hole in them so it doesn't tear.

But I have stubbies on both zeds :thumbsup:
 
Got to be the stubby, my first mod! Also helps ID fellow forum members and just people with a eye for style! :driving:
