By the seaside...
Well, despite the knee-jerk reactions of Toto Wolfe and Niki Lauder (talking to the press after Lewis had had a chance to bend their ear, but before they had talked to Nico), the stewards of the race obviously didn't feel that any transgression had taken place.
To be precise, it was Lewis's car that was changing direction at the point of impact, so you could argue that it was Lewis who hit Nico.
At least you'll never hear Nico pleading to be retired from a race.

to be fair when lewis was asking to retire he was struggling with lost downforce which we didnt know at the time.he is a great racing driver who does seem to have a lot of bad luck. i dont think nico was way out of order just an error which only needs to be minute at those speeds, the misjudgement was trying to take lewis so early in the race in a situation that was clearly very detrimental to the team but moreso to lewis.

Totally Nico's fault, he was never going to make it round the outside of Lewis and his contact was plain clumsy. Lewis simply kept to the racing line. Vettel was further upsides on the previous lap, an had to abort to the escape road.
