Hi,
Further to my other posts I would also like to pick up a zhp and stubby aerial if anyone has either.
Otherwise can anyone please let me know the best place to get them and the guide price.
I have emailed Cotswolds but just waiting for them to give me the bad news, assuming they can get them.
Thanks

I think BMW is the only place to get a genuine ZHP. I got mine from Cotswold.

There are OE BMW stubby aerials, but loads of Peugeot/Citroen ones fit and they're much cheaper. Or universal ones like these:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=PSA+Short+Aerial&crid=2ELSMQQYNPOPO&sprefix=psa+short+aerial%2Caps%2C80&ref=nb_sb_noss

Thanks Mr Tidy (again) 😊

I have just found one in their eBay shop. I think this is the correct item and part number?…

Brand New Genuine BMW Six Speed M Sport Leather Gear Knob 25117896886. £69.99 delivered.

Re the stubby, yeah I saw loads on eBay but was unsure what was compatible and if they were any good.

Cheers

That's the right Part Number for a 6 speed ZHP.

I bought a universal one for my car and it's still fine several years later, but I do loosen and re-tighten it now and again just to be sure it doesn't get seized on!

Just call Cotswolds BMW in Cheltenham or a local dealer which offer discount. It is cheaper than eBay even when paying shipping.

Always check with your local dealer. EBay BMW dealers tend to mark up their prices plus postage. Classic example is rotational centre caps. EBay £78 plus postage. In store £70. Always worth asking and you know is genuine. There are a lot of fakes out there.

Cool, thanks guys. Will call tomorrow to chase them.

I payed £58 for mine just watched till there was a 20 percent voucher code

Thanks, that’s a good shout, if I can be patient and wait!😊

Well I just couldn’t wait so picked up both today from my local main dealer and actually got a good price.
ZHP went straight on and is amazing.
I can’t seem to unscrew the wippy aerial and am wondering if it is one piece?

No, just seized.
You may end up needing to find someone with a spare base, then remove the whole thing.

That sounds familiar

Bigwinn in my case

😆 oh dear. I’ve applied WD40 and will leave overnight to try again. Thanks guys as ever! 👍🏻
Stubby is so cool and zero hassle. Unlike the E82 SSK I bought that needed half the car dismantling to fit!

When I took my old antenna off with base and all (5 minutes from within the boot), I put it on a workbench and it was impossible to separate. I applied full force straight on it a d it would not go.

Didn’t care as I had a new base in any case but there was no way in hell on getting that off

Sounds like I might be popping back to Marshalls for a base then.

I have changed 2 before but the cars were always garaged, this one hasn’t so it had solidly welded itself on
