Roof only opening half way.

I’m picking up my 2009 3.0 tomorrow but there is a roof issue. No fault codes but when you press and hold the button it gets to the point where the boot is open then it stops. You let the button go and press it again and it completed cycle. Same thing when putting it up. Hopefully this has been dealt with by someone. Any info would help.

Typically a micro switch going bad..usually on the ram..easy to replace ..a decent code reader will allow real time monitoring of each sensor ..
