Opening/closing roof with key

Hi all

I bought an 04 zed around two months ago and have recently read on here that it's possible to open/close the roof with the key.

That said, I tried it last night (by holding the unlock button down) and nothing happened. Is it non-standard? I can't find anything in the manual about it.

I am a new owner with a 2007 roadster and if I lress the unlock button and keep it pressed mine opens the roof completely which is great

A dealer will code it but only to open
an Indie will code to open and close

The roof opens with the key on my other half's 2007 si, but it doesn't close.
Is this the issue? So closing can also be programmed without the need for an additional module?

Like mine ,the dealers will not code to close as is is potentially a safety issue but apparently indies will code to close

My car opens the roof with a hold, but does not close. Id love to be able to close with a "hold" and also have the 3 x blink to change lanes.

Does anyone know of an Indie in the London/Windsor area that would do this?
