Roof opening and closing sequence

Hi all.
I am looking for a write up (description) of the roof opening and closing sequence of events. What happens when and what sensors and micro switches are involved.
Got a roof closing problem. Until I understand what should happen and when, I can't really fix it.
Anyone seen something like this?

,any thanks

If you post up the sequence you have somebody might be able to advise the likely cause.

I’ve never seen a schematic for trouble shooting.

Here's one from TIS, and the overviews show the loom etc.

Srhurch. I have an open thread on my roof not closing. But we haven't solved it yet.
Scooba_steve. Thanks for that. But I need an idiots guide. For instance, there are switches, hall sensors, micro switches , motors etc. Which do what and when?
How does the roof know when it is fully down?
Until I understand the sequence of events, l can't really fault find.
Sorry but it's just me. I need to understand how something works before fixing it, rather than just do a spot fix.

You're probably going to have to do some digging on TIS, I've not seen a technical guide for the roof.

Sequence as I observe it:

Top unlocks and windows lower
Pump operates to lower roof
Lock engages again (believe even if catch not fitted)
Windows raise

For the windows it does not appear to matter how far down they are, just that they are open some amount.
For raising.
Top unlocks and windows lower
Pump operates
lock engages
windows raise.

Parcel shelf raised prevents any lowering action and gives amber LED.
I imagine any other switches/sensors/wiring issues will give solid red LED with no action.
Usually if the top unlocks with nothing else there is a pump issue.

now we’re getting there.
Anyone know how the roof knows when it’s fully down? Can’t be done on timing cos low battery worn pump etc would all affect the time taken for a roof cycle. Must be a switch somewhere.

Switch or hall sensor I guess, one of the ones on the frame loom shown on TIS. Look on TIS and find all the switches/sensors listed.

I can only assume there are two for roof position (knowing when to stop going up/down) and maybe one for locking position.
