OHHHHHH. Those just "pop" out (though not easily). They are a snug fit on the spline so they can be difficult to get moving, but they are not retained by anything but friction.

Yeah i cant wait buddy. I have been struggling a little bit with it. But i have had loads of help Yorkie z was really helpful last night so thanks Chris

Cracking work mate, I admire the dedication! Hopefully now you've calmed down with regards to building a garage etc, you can sort of sit back and enjoy the process of sorting the car out.

Thanks Rob yeah i have decided to leve my building hat on the hat rack until the car is working right. Hopefully back onto the man cave and the drive to finish them off fully before my birthday in October.

It is nice having the work space but there is always a tool you wish you had. And i am running out of room i need a bigger cave!!

There is not such thing as "too many tools" or "too much space."

Id be interested in quite a few parts....... if you really did consider breaking it :? :o 8)

I could possibly just depends how my arguments (begging) for why its a good idea go with the wife. I doubt it will happen just looked at loans :o But if i could get say 5-6k for mine in bits it could be possible.

I'd call first dibs on the following:

roof motor,
strut brace,
folding mirrors,
coilovers,
LSD (don't even ask what's happened with my order :headbang: )

Give you £60 for the lot? :P

but seriously, if you did go for it, I'd be very keen in the above, especially if it went towards the //M
I'd potentially be interested in the whole engine too....

Finish yours with all the bits you have first! It'l be verrry different with all the mods applied. Should handle nicely.

I'll cause a raucous when i say it - but i expect only 5% of ///M owners can actually drive them anywhere near as fast as they actually are. I know i can't.

Ok cool i will bare that in mind. But £60........ might have to be a bit more than that buddy. Or i wont be getting much of an M!!
