Funny you say that - my Golf has been no end of trouble, but it's actually exactly what I wanted from it. It's a boring daily, was the cheapest (right spec/mileage) vehicle I could find from a main dealer, so knowing it has a full no quibble warranty.
It's had a new tyre (all new now), new brakes all round and some paint/refurb as they promised it was "AUC 150 million point checked" and clearly hadn't been touched.
Since then, it's had a new set of clutch packs for the DSG, a wing mirror replaced/repaired, a whistling turbo repaired and a few other bits I can't bring to mind. For £300 a year, I'll keep up the warranty and a bit like a member on here, will possibly have a new car by the time I eventually sell it!!

Just saw the 13k Coupe on eBay but cat C, anyone know anything about that one? Interior looks decent but given that the bonnet is blistering makes you wonder how good a quality the overall repair was

Another example of buying trouble tempted by a cheap initial price , far better buying a decent example with more miles for more money imo
It will tempt someone at that price and nothing a £700 wrap couldn't hide.
