It's not fake carbon fibre though, that would be like the 3M wrap. I'm just not a fan of silver interior trim. Even changed it out on my previous zed. I prefer a dark cabin dashboard wise, less to distract. And if the sun ever caught it from behind it could be literally blinding.

I thought it was leather printed to look like cf?

It's leather woven to look like CF. It is more than just a surface with imprints in it.

Asked about sh and guy admitted the car had a new engine at 20,000 miles as well!
Do you consider that detrimental or beneficial?

Mine had a replacement (under warranty) at 23,000 miles, and it's been driven in the same manner since, and it's 2nd engine has probably done more miles than anyone else's original engine (i.e. 130,000 miles).

Maybe that's due to my over-servicing, or just pure luck

Almost everything else has been replaced on my car over the 8 years I've owned it, so are those replacements also detrimental/beneficial?

The only difference with my car over some you'll find on eBay, is that all my history (including accident repairs) is easy enough to find via either my posts on here, or on my Pistonheads garage page, and all my replacement parts (apart from upgrades) have been either genuine (diff, engine, bearings, panels, wheels, etc.) or OEM for consumables (LUK clutch & flywheel, ATE disks, etc.).

'Market' value of mine means it would never be worth selling  but was valued at £9300 by the insurer for the basic car, plus £4-5k for the mods, so is why it was repaired rather than written off after my accident. However, had they known the diff had been damaged at the same time and had initially factored that into their calculations, then I'm in no doubt that it would have been written off. After the amount of time it's taken to get everything fixed, I'm almost sorry they didn't write it off

Just when I stopped my subscript on OCTANE they will have a "Best Investments 2017" according to my mate at work.. With Z4M Coupe in it! :)
Latest issue out any day now.
Appearently has a Stratos on the front.

Any idea why this has been sitting on the forecourt since June??
Can't see anything obviously wrong with it.

They have it on this link, although I think the number of Z4MC's brought into the country are a way out!

Most sit around because they have missed or have poor service history. It does say FSH but that could mean anything.

Worth a call!

Not been on AT for a while. Had a little browse this evening. Two observations that gave me much heart. The price of Aston's is still falling. 8) The price of Z4M's has firmed up a lot, since I last looked. :)
