M market watch

This market looks much like the 993 market a few years ago. Not many quality low mileage cars for sale, but a small number of very "average " cars that traders hope will sell on the back of a rising market at inflated prices. It's common practise for them to tweak prices up too when not selling as they can often sit and wait.
I've not seen a single car advertised yet that makes me get tingly about spending money or travelling to view.
At some point a genuine enthusiast car will come up at the right price. Traders circling around with low offers and buying up everything in sight is a good sign of a strong market. I can't see it going crazy like the Porsche one has but it's all good for you guys sat with properly maintained cars in vgc.

Couldn't see any discussion about this one, looks quite nice on first glance. Only just up the road from me.

Barely done any miles in the past few years and not been taxed in a while...potentially used as track car?

Mines not been taxed in 3 months and has done 1k a year over the last 3.5 years. Its NEVER seen a track.

These cars just get put in garages and come out on odd days so low use and having no tax is far from unusual. Total waste of a good car, but what the hell!!

Sold in less than a week that one

Nice, bet he got asking price as well....good indication of market strength on a 74k mile car....might bring forward my retirement plans a bit earlier

This has just dropped by 1k.

When it drops a couple more it might sell....

Wheels and spoiler are hideous....

Nice miles though and the hardtop is a bonus..

Not a fan of the spoiler, but original so not much of an issue. But the wheels are a no.

I quite like that car and it's effectively £1k cheaper if you sell off the hardtop....not many cars come around with 45k miles at the moment. I personally think that's a good buy...

Its a shed! Properly mistreated, damage on body, seat not too good etc

I know the original owner of this car. It was for sale elsewhere with some Schnitzer wheels on it. 2 owners from new and a spot on spec. That car is tidy, or at least it used to be as I've not seen it in ages!

Spotted this Imola red coupe whilst mooching about on autotrader - http://www.cramag.com/bmw-detail.html?row=2&model=BMW%20Z4%20M%20COUPE%206%20SPEED%20WITH%20LEATHER%20SAT%20NAV%202007/07
Looks very nice but I'm no expert :)

Seen this car in the flesh and i have to say for 94k miles its mint. Service history is spot on. Last owner used it daily and mostly covered motorway miles.

Condition inside is nice too if you can look past the silicone spray they have used to blacken everything!!

And yes it has gone up £500 it was 16,989

Nice looking car, but closing on 100k miles would you need to budget £2k+ for main bearing shells in the near future? With that done it's still a 100k miles motor so seems pricey IMHO :|

I enquired about this car run in service was too far out for me. Add the spoiler awful wheels and no room for negotiation that was that.

About 300 miles or 25% Service intervals weren't brilliant either. If its a car that's been owned in a family from father to son and it was bought new and they cant even get the first service done properly it doesn't fill you with confidence.

The roof wear, the canvas is warn and the rear window is delaminating. The drivers seat bagginess is also suspect for the mileage. Lots of small journeys I suspect and not so well looked after for a "stunning example" "exceptional condition" the all important run in service was done at 1500 shows how the dealer has no clue. Wish the dealers wouldn't BS all the time.
