Its the 17k + spec/colour that rings my bell , pretty sure it was discussed on this thread at some point
Seller was acting on behalf of brother or something ?

Blue calipers Aldo ring a bell.

That was definitely up for sale privately recently I remember the aftermarket radio.

You'd think they would put the proper head unit back in wouldn't you.

I would say price is very toppy for the time of year, and perhaps a couple of years 'ahead of himself' (I think the low milers like this one will eventually creep up to £30k but not quite yet.

It's also a shame about the ghastly tacky and unnecessary grill, and the aluminium interior trim. At least the grill can be swapped back fairly easily.

I would say £25k would be more realistic.

Quite. You'd have to ask yourself what type of owner would choose to do that to a car, and then considering that, think of the things that type of owner might have or have not done to the rest of it. Yep, massive generalisation perhaps but for that money I'd rather not have that question floating around in my head. The aluminium trim is also I'd agree (personally) an unfortunate choice.
For the frankly optimistic ask I'd be expecting a pristine OEM example.

Hmm. The grill is prob the original, with some foil added.. (Big deal?)
Worse is that horrid rear spoiler added. The paint is almost surely damaged from it.

The alu interior trim tho is pretty neutral & clean, it's at least miles better than the mega-silly "carbonleather" they were trying on these..
(Future's judgement on today's carbonweave craze will not be gentle.. :) )

You're kidding, right? Carbon leather is the single best looking Z4 trim option and is what keeps Z4M interiors looking quite modern and exclusive!

Carbon leather is easily the best looking option by far, what've you been smoking

Mega silly

I had piano black in my 3.0si and prefer that to the CF leather in my M. But part of me likes the fact you can't spec the CF on any other Z4.

M's have always been mileage sensitive...so with not many left at below 30k miles that car isn't massively overpriced. I'd think he'll get £25-27k for it....

It's not worth 30k though. Everything finds a level. Maybe somebody desperate will buy it.

Maybe, maybe not. You don't think it's worth £30k, but as you say, somebody may well think it is. Somebody may look at equivalent Z3M'S going for £50k plus and think it's worth it??

Time will tell, if it's for sale in 6 months time the market has spoken. If it sells quickly the market has spoken. It's certainly worth more than £19995 imo.

Good luck with your search, hope you find a decent one

I'm actively looking but that's ott IMHO. 10k too dear.

If you're hoping to buy a sub-30k miles Z4MC for £20k you'll be actively looking for quite a while in the current market.

This car is very near me. In fact I drove past the dealer yesterday and saw it in the middle of their forecourt and then I looked at the advert before I saw it had made this thread. I haven't seen it close up so I can't comment on condition etc. It looks under-serviced to me though. A 10-year old car with 4 services detailed? Some of the comments on here about the M tri-colour wrap on the grille are a bit daft. We all like to personalise our cars a bit. How is that different to swapping the wheels for example? It's arguably a lot less of a departure from "standard OEM" as fitting CSL's is. I also the think the anti-alu trim thing is a bit overblown on here too. Ok, I understand why people like the carbon weave leather, I prefer it too, t's an M-only trim, whereas aluminium was fitted to non-M's but I had aluminium in my E85 and I liked it. Someone made a comment about being dazzled by it in sunlight. Well in 5 years and 90k miles in my E85 that was never an issue for me.
