First experiences of the M

i am the right age to be driving a M, past my twenties a long long while ago, however my bonus did buy my car but worse than that I am just a women, sure there must be some law about women driving an M :wink:

Forums are there to enable reasoned comment. It is quite obvious that "Pistonhesds" moderators don't like that. Get a life & support your members in Afgghanistan. That clearly is not going to happen, especially as some 30% of Pistonheads members are "Patels" & muslims. Every Indian aspires to a Mercedes Benz or a cheap M3. You threatened me with a ban. Do it & ban all the excellent British soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

Then who looks like a pratt to the British Public? :headbang:

Crossing the line there... if you have something against muslims I think you should take yourself down tothe local mosque and discuss it with them. Again, this is not the place for that, and from my perspective, yes, it does appear you are slightly racist. That is up to you, but please don't post your views on race on this forum!

SittingBull, remember that there is a real person potentially being offended at the other end of the Net, please respect them as I like to think you would respect others in your personal life.

I am refraining from explaining why you should get real about Afghanistanm and the forces, Have a good think about it and not be fuelled by the press and other media into your thinking.

I don't know - Mike was one of my first experiences of the M - albeit on Pistonheads.

Darren - It's nice to see that because you've owned both, you can criticise and praise both. Some people are too quick to pass judgement on 3.0si vs M; most of the time without reason.

Absolutely fantastic looking car - How are you finding the lighter interior? I absolutely love mine, and I definitely couldn't have anything else (personally). I find cream interior (sepang and champagne) works really well with a blue exterior!

Did you not get any photos of them together?
 
Andy, I was meant to look out for you as know you mentioned you might pop past. It was only when I got halfway home I remembered "oh, I wonder if Andy was there" - was a bit wacked out from the night before :rofl:

IK, the light interior is fabulous. Perfect, I really wanted a light interior this time - always seemed to of had dark colours in the past. Blue and champagne or sepang are perfect combinations and I probably wouldn`t of bought the car if it wasn`t one of those combinations. When I saw Sepang I thought "wow". If I had to settle for another colour interior I would of bought privately to save a few ££

No pics of the cars togther I`m afraid :cry:
 
Mine was the opposite! I actually bought privately in the end, because BMW couldn't get me the spec I wanted!

Ended up with the absolute perfect spec for me, so I'm very happy! Just need to keep it for longer than my previous cars now! :lol:
