E89 Market watch

Didnt I see that car on ebay for a couple of grand less or am I imagining it?

Yep it was on eBay & At for 6/7 weeks initially at £17500 then £16500.
Seller told me not one viewing :(

I suppose many would think it's a lot of money for a 7 year old car in a private sale.
Even worse now with the dealer mark up. I suppose the finance/warranty will make someone take the plunge tho....

It's £18k and getting up on miles....
I'd say it's well overpriced considering we are heading towards the winter...

I bought a 23 sdrive for £10k, 50k miles, grey with red leather, comfort pack and DAB a couple of months ago. Think it was a fair price

If we were to sell ours for £10k I would be disappointed but to be fair it would mean that we had only lost £2k a year during our ownership which is a lot less than the original owners.

Id guess the above car was Se spec ? 09 59 ? £10k about where they are in the market , Msport add £1500 maybe more at a dealer :?

Missed this as have been away for a while. Yes, mine is a SE and not the Msport

For anyone interested, I came across - 09 25I 72,000 at auction
- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-Hardtop-Convertible/132340206865?hash=item1ed0174d11%3Ag%3ACrwAAOSwkzhZyCo4

So its had a few weeks on sale after dealer bought it private for £15kish / still available http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-10-BMW-Z4-3-0-Z4-SDRIVE35IS-ROADSTER-2D-AUTO-340-BHP/222643186220?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Could be one the dealer has a good while , we shall see

That's the price you pay for inflicting ABBA on us.... :P  (just kidding - it's more the DVD of 'Mama Mia' that my wife has watched on repeat that I have a problem with... :headbang: )

I was about to sympathise - and then I saw your garage on the link!

Now I'm just jealous - you must get paid at least twice what we do.

How about a 2014 35i navspec DCT with just 4500 miles on the clock for £21k :? in silver too which is without question the best colour for these cars :D  :P http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-3-0-35i-sDrive-M-Sport-2dr-/302469680226?hash=item466c990c62:g:xmwAAOSwc~BZzK0M

Lol quality picture.

That was up for sale 2 months ago for £23k, same seller but the same pose had his wife in the car......clearly she didn’t “sell it” so he’s taken over to show her how it’s done!!!

What will be next if his pics don’t sell it?

Hopefully some fresh alloys :D they aren't cutting it for me on that car i'm afraid

Whilst I normally find myself in tune with Mr Wilks findings, I sadly am not this time. I just don't think that BMW do good silvers. It's probably me but interested in what others think.

Perhaps the lighter interior is giving a saloon Jaguar appearance in the pics but you can easily add character to that car & 4500 miles is less than many demonstrators sell with , it isn't crazy cash , there's good potential there , just needs a owner with vision & enthusiasm to add something more to it :driving:

I totally agree the seat/paint combo is far from ideal and those wheels... Mr Wilks car shows how much better silver can look..... almost as good as DSB or Grey
