What ever you buy in this category is £500, so pay and enjoy or don't bother I suppose. At the end of the day £500 is £10.50 a week.

My 911 is £265 .... :P

My little Mazda is £265 I think, as it has a gas guzling old 2ltr engine :o . Like Tom says if you like driving you pays for it.

Seem to recall a pre 2001, DB7 V12 Vantage would be about the same.

(Not sure about your maths though Tom) :poke:

Will be keeping it. Have been performing way too much mods to be able to sell now and buy back an equivalent specimen if I would regret the sale ...

When you buy a new car is it not double for the first year tho PVR? ;)

Showroom tax + road tax was £675 if that is what you meant.

No Flaming here Cueball, but for me personally the challenge of the updates, mods, and changes are the things that intrigue me. I guess what I was saying is at the end of the day when I do get it where I want it I'm sure I will have more in this car than really worth and some of the features could have been found by going a different route when buying the car if I took more time and looked around but I am enjoying the journey just as I did with the ole Harley.

oh I totally agree.... but I have my RS6 for that... :D :D :D

plus, just got my second puncture on the Zed within a week of pulling it out of storage....it's like it doesn't want to be with me either! :headbang: :headbang:

A little while ago if you'd asked me this question I would have definitely said it's a keeper. But now, after 9 years and 11 months I have decided it just wasn't getting enough use, so I've sold it to my son. I've owned the car from new and it will be sad to part with it, but at least I will be able to keep my eye on it and make sure it's looked after. Hand over tomorrow, so one excited son who can't wait. He's got a bargain and the knowledge that the car has not been abused and I guess he'll be along here soon!

Longer term I guess I might be on the look out for an E89, so I'm not done with Zeds yet!

Looks like I'll be a passenger at Silverstone this year! :)

I've been a Zed owner since 2004 and I'll be moving on soon. Maybe not in 2014 but hopefully 2015.

Hopefully you will stick around on here even when/if you do, Steve

I still look at the Zed's & now I've gone Coupe, am thinking if I clear the lockup, move all the frakin bikes, logs, winter wheels, trailer & other crap, might get a //M Coupe in.

There's still time...

Should've done that and kept your roadie :poke:

I don't even want a pax ride in a coupe - it seems like they infect you and *poof* - you go all weird and forget about how great it is to get the roof off :P

... am also saving myself for a F type - have a policy maturing in 3 years & Co car scheme is possibly changing to allow 'anything'... happy days if that happens

All I can say is that my new car has a sun roof so I won't go soft altogether 8)

I miss having a sunroof they always used to be all the rage but since A/C has took over you don't see many cars with them anymore, I think they make a great addition to a car.

Never had a problem with my panoramic roof on my X5, but when the car turned 7 years old started to worry when using it. Did not order it with my E70 for the same fear ...

To be honest mine was always fine on my X5 as well...but you do tend to read about plenty of people moaning about them and the costs to get them fixed but I really liked mine it made a nice difference to the interior.

Yes, on the Porker the whole roof is glass as well, makes the cabin a bit lighter.
