Although mine is new to me the Z is something i have wanted one since they announced they were going to start making them in Greenville, SC which was about 70 miles from my home town. That along with how I am enjoying fixing it up and customizing it I can already see that I am going to end up with so much invested selling it may not be an option, lol.
I still have the first Harley I ever bought, a 1980 Wide Glide that I'm guessing I have close to 30k in it. The bike sold for a little over 7k on the show room floor, and blue book has its value at 10k now, but with custom paint, motor work, and custom chrome parts I designed and made there's no way I could sell it.
LOL and now I've found a new toy to play with
so yeah its a keeper.

Especially when all the hybrids etc start to come to every day use, which I can't see being all that far away. Even if in the financial position in the future to have a newer sports car alongside it, it isn't going to have the old school N/A roar rasp etc etc. Plus I've wanted one for years!!!!! The thought of one got me to pull my finger out in the final stages of uni when I really couldn't be arsed , having seen my mates on shorter courses come and go.

I think about this a lot. I wonder if they will do any sort of relief for collectible cars in say 10 years time. Because I can see using an M or current day 911 etc in the future will be looked upon like you are the devil, or have sex with socks.

Yeah, my local dealer has a nice 35i in Valencia Orange with Black alcantara seats with a centre orange band....nice in the flesh...and tempting also.....but will stick with my M roadster for a while yet...plan is to keep it for as long as possible/hopefully indefinitely

I've been a Zed owner since 2004 and I'll be moving on soon. Maybe not in 2014 but hopefully 2015.

I've had mine for over 4.5 years, longer then any previous car! Just hit 40k miles... And still going strong!
I'm constantly tempted to change... Its not the dislike/ like of the car that i keep it, more circumstance.
But there is nothing wrong with it so why change?!
Admittedly i will have to change it within a year or so... Due to planning a family.. So gone will be my 2 seater roadster days, hello volvo :lol:

I was only meant to have mine across one summer so we could do a European trip. Done that 3 times now and planning a 4th
Driving it daily at the moment and loving it. I do wish I could turn back time on it but that's just cos it's getting to 62k, which is a lot if miles for a car I've owned.
I was tempted by the E89 Paza bought but only cos it was such a good price.
Am I keeping it? Absolutely. Will only change if the chance of a zed I would keep as a classic comes along.

I had sold mine, having it for just a year (MOTd last week)
then the sale fell through...
I took it out for a drive and thought "it's not that bad, I'll keep it"
but I've been driving it for a week now, and I'm back to selling it again... just not for me.
so no... it's not a keeper.

im a keeper.... i see no reason to uproot and have to add 50k to my car to get a car the performs on the same level.... I'm too deep in to drop it now, id rather stick a cover on stick it in one corner of the garage and forget about it for a few years if i get bored....
