Are you a keeper?

Will be buying mine once the PCP is up at 4 years at £12600. My projected mileage by then should be 3800 might be a bit less  :D

Will be selling the Z3 to make way for the new Hyundai i10 which will be my daily runner and cheap as chips to run :) But from what I'm being told theres upto a 5 month waiting list

Tim.

I bet you will be sad to see the Z3 go Tim

Still cant believe what little mileage you do in the Z4...its just so showroom fresh

I miss having a sunroof they always used to be all the rage but since A/C has took over you don't see many cars with them anymore, I think they make a great addition to a car.

Mine has a 'Moonroof' :D

In all honesty I will gutted to let the Z3 go, I've been putting it off for 2 years now but I can't go on having two 2 seaters  as they just don't mix with ferrying an 84 year old around in  they're just too low for getting in an out.

I did think of swapping the Z4 for the new 2 series active tourer due in Sept but I can't be bothered taking out another relatively expensive PCP with BMW and as the Z4 is still mint I would rather just pay it off and keep it.

The Hyundai will be around 80 quid a month on a PCP and will be doing around 50/60 mpg which suits me.

PS, I'm not 84

Think I come under the itchy feet category.

I test drove a 2.0i M Sport E89 today... I wanted to like it but was a little disappointed, partly due to performance (always likely to be an issue when I'm used to a 3.0si as a daily drvier) and partly due to a lack of wow factor... it's a great car but it just didn't seem special if that makes sense.

The 30i etc. are holding their value a lot better, so perhaps a 23i is the solution for me.

I love the look of my coupe, but I've got a convertible itch I need to scratch...

That did make me smile! :D

The Hyundai sounds spot on regards the running costs front and you still have you`re gorgeous Zed too so a great combo...I was going to say if you were 84 then you should be investing in a nice Jag!

I've got a 2.3 and have driven a 2.0 there isn't much difference in performance ,but the 2.3 sounds miles better imo :)

Thanks Lee, I've been looking at allsorts of hatches but the Hyundai seems a good alrounder and realise they're probably as good as anything out there now in the price range with i10 being city car of 2014. Only problem is getting one as they've been inundated with orders :|

The Z4 will always be a hobby car for me so no need to do high mileage if I'm keeping it.

Interesting, thanks for feedback. Going to do a little more research on the forum re E89s, I'm sold on the idea but need to find the right model. Problem is the larger engines seem to hold their price rather better...

If you were dissapointed in the 2.0 then the 2.3 won't be any better as the 2.0 replaced the 2.3, the 2.0 N20 is slightly quicker and more econmical but theres little in it. All you will notice is the difference in engine note.

I think you need to try the 3.0 to be honest.

New house means any new toys will have to wait a while; that said I enjoy driving the Z4M and the fact I only get to use it occasionally makes it more special when I do :)

Nothing remotely affordable tempts me either so that helps fight the urges ;)
