"We will be offering a 15% discount for a limited time to customers who want to be early adopters many thanks"

That doesn't translate to the first 10 people, not in my view anyway. That limited time could be half an hour, an hour...?

Hey though, it's up to those guys how they go about it. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like whats just happened.

Are you arguing with yourself here :? yea Nige could have sold a couple then said sorry to number 3 , the times up :? so by offering 10 sets there is at least a visible line in the sand for folks to make up their mind & not feel pressured into thinking they have to buy within a day,a week or a hour
Ive met the guys & i don't for a minute think being underhand or trying to exploit a situation is there intention at all
Hopefully no one will take them & my car will be unique :P

I think the first 10 sets - not including the prototypes that you've got Mr Wilks - is more than reasonable. Better than a time limit IMO, as you say. Especially if there's the same first 10 deal on the prestige version :D

Sadly I will not have the mullah, or be allowed to spend it, in the time it takes for these to sell.

I am seriously interested but really need to hear this in normal driving and next to other after-market exhausts. I'm not really expecting that you'll manage to track down an RPI'd Z4M like mine but one can hope! :)

Really then hope no more...:)). ...you got baffles to tone it down a bit if you wish....I have... :)

Any chance of a soundclip on them ?

Easy...just a bit of a fiddle to locate the securing bolts as they sit about 8inches into the pipe but long nose pliers do the job,,,it just takes the edge off of the noise,,,not sure it would pass track day noise limits though and it certainly wouldn't without them in.

Out on the road it's a terrific noise when your on the throttle.....if I'm honest im still unsure if they are right for me, they are absolute works of art,,,should be on a mantle at home not under a car....!!!!

£720 is the forum price / £850 elsewhere

That's how i read it yes :? & as Z4M-2006 has pointed out selling 10 sets on this forum would be a big ask so personally i see no reason for anyone kicking off or whining over what i would consider a fair offer :? Purchase isn't compulsry , if folks don't like them or don't want them i struggle to understand why they need to offer derogatory comments (not aimed at you btw )

I was interested initially, bit confused though....where does the 'valve' part come into it and why are they variable tone? Doesn't sound very variable?? How is the design of these differing from other aftermarket exhausts or is it just a clever marketing ploy? (Sorry to be a cynic!)
From that video though, not feeling it to be honest, maybe it's YouTube quality again but aftermarket exhausts just don't seem to do our engines any favours from what I've heard of them all. Shame, really wanted to like these as well :( Hopefully an open day at some point in the flesh might sway things! Or maybe the 'prestige' version will be more to my tastes, look forward to that!

Looks ace though, deffo can't fault the construction and fitting on them!

Totally get you Andy , sound recordings uploaded to Youtube can't always convey the exact tone you get at certain revs or loading .
Even the clip of my own car doesn't sound like what i was driving yesterday :?
I think a open day would be a great way for potential buyers to get a proper idea of what they are buying .
.

I was under the impression there was a switched/valve adjusting from a quieter volume to a louder volume similar to PSE or any modern sports car switched exhaust, but this doesn't seem evident in the video (there's two clips that sound identical)? Is this incorrect?

If there's no valve, then this is just another exhaust system and there are lots of options..
