Z4MC's not seem to be dropping in price much.

For example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4M-3-2-2007MY-M-Coupe-sat-nav-etc-/331113645951?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4d17e9477f
Pretty much identical standard spec to mine (except I have extended leather and no heated seats). This is the same money I paid for my 32k mile car in September with all the mods on! Made me feel like I got a great deal or prices are shoring up...

All depends where you want to buy from , the ad you linked is a well known seller & not known for being cheap but he does get decent stock 8)
In the last 12 months the forum has seen similar vehicles going for much less ( £4/£5k less ? ) similar mileage possibly a bit higher ?
There aren,t many owners who buy & run ZM,s & come out on top ? Although there has been 1 guy on here who managed it  ? No names mentioned

Just enjoy the car & what will be will be

Donjon, this has been discussed quite a bit recently.

Decent examples do appear to be holding value / starting to perhaps even appreciate.

I guess as these cars get older, good, clean, well maintained examples are getting rarer and rarer as such potential buyers seem more willing to pay a premium for a decent example.

Conversely, it seems to be getting harder and harder to shift higher mileage & sub-optimum ///MCs

I'll not be selling mine for many a year, but will be watching with interest.

I've owner mine for 6 months and FWIW, if I was to sell now, based on what else has been selling I wouldn't expect to accept any less than I paid.

I'm not so much pleased that prices aren't falling too fast as annoyed that you paid less for yours than I paid for my completely stock ///MC donjon. I've spent thousands on mods and you still have things on yours that I want for mine... Admittedly, I have had mine for five years - but I do like your car!

When a car like this is 7 years old it's already done most of it depreciation and 6 months down the line is going to make minimal difference to value. Good Z4M coupes with sensible mileage aren't going anywhere except up in value.

I'm keeping my eyes in prices and they do seem similar to last year.

Selling price can be a lot different to asking price though.

If a well specced grey, imola or sepang comes up at the right money I will be on it..!

I must admit it was a big bonus for me having all the kit on already, I was on the look out for an interlagos blue example like yours when this popped up and I couldn't say no. It is quite refreshing doing it this way around though as I usually buy a stock car, blow thousands on mods and then sell at a massive loss!

The prices of some of the AUCs are redic there is one like mine with 10k more miles half the spec no CSLs and is 16k!

There is a black with red leather flipper spec with what looks like fake CSLs 40k and is 20k!!!! makes you feel good.

Infact the prices are higher now than they were when I was looking for mine 2 years ago.

you buying the car to drive or to make money?

if its the second, pass on by mate, and invest in a house.

oh and just so everyone knows, any cash that you pour into the car, you aint getting back.. period.
ask me how i know...

That wasn't really the point of the thread... I'm guessing more along the line of the cars future similar to the z3m coupe

definitely, AUC prices are rocketing up!! and it's had a follow on impact on private sales......

I know Sytner offered the seller of mine a healthy wedge of cash for it. Reassuring to know if I ever need to sell quickly

Exact same thing I was thinking... :)

I was thinking the same, bought mine 20months ago and I would now be paying a similar amount for a low mileage M roadster like mine as I did then, give or take a few hundred quid...which is nice I guess :D

More like £150k. I think it's been on the market for the last 2 years going by the service history :o

No surprise there, Hexagon seem to like good cars going to waste on their forecourt but what I don't understand is with some of their models, surely if they are for sale so long that they need to drop the price (such as the z4's) they are making even less of a profit margin due to paying more to buy the vehicle in at the time (I.e 2 years ago vs. buying the car in now). Just a greedy garage with deep pockets IMO.
