Seen it on Autotrader and looks to be in good condition and only 56k miles, would be interested to know if its anyones on the forum ?

Exactly, I'm sure they must be on this forum, will the owner step forward !!

I was thinking of a z4 coupe but this one ticks a lot of boxes, no sat nav, bi leather seats, low mileage and a good price too, what do you think Mr Tidy ?

I must admit I was quite taken with it when it popped up on my A/T alert as I love Interlagos Blue and it has done 40K miles less than mine!

But I'm not sure about the interior, I prefer something like Champagne or Light Sepang.

And at that mileage it's heading towards needing replacement bearing shells and engine mounts (a 4 figure bill) and a suspension refresh that is likely to cost more than that, so they need to be taken into account.

Having had a couple of 3.0Si Coupes you really need to go into M ownership with your eyes open and credit card primed because servicing/maintenance costs are on a different level, but if you can live with that the M is a very special experience. :D

Interesting that the car mentioned is getting some interest. My one a year younger less miles and all big jobs done and there’s very little interest. Am I looking for too much money ? It’s listed on the here on the fourm .Be interested to get some feedback from fellow members

Having a quick compare tt seems there are a number of Z4MC with mileage in the 40 and 50k region around the 18k mark, and yet 2 of the 3.0si coupes with similar mileage are around the 14k mark so only 4-5 k difference. SInce i sold my Z4C with 52k miles for 10.5k back in 2021 prices seem to have gone up 2 or 3k for 3.0si but down a bit for the Z4MC maybe because of the higher running costs, just makes it harder to chose between them now more than ever!

You need to work on your sums. Your car has 2,000 more miles than the subject of this thread. Yours is also £4,500 more money. When buying a car, no-one gives a s**t about ongoing expenditure, it's all about the headline figure.

So yes, if you haven't had a sniff, yours is too much money. The figure of £22,000 seems to be the default ask for a fairly low mileage MC at the minute. Problem is they ain't selling for that.

As a potential buyer I think Pondrew is right, its the headline figure that I look at, the year newer is irrelevant as its over 15 years old anyway. If its had all the maintainence its a bonus, but I dont mind spending out on the work over time once ive got one - as thats part of the enjoyment of owning nearly a 20 year old car, looking after it.

For sellers that want to realistically sell, they are pricing at a lower price, there are some low mileage Z4M Coupes are on AT one with 40k miles on for 20k and one with 42k on for less than 19k, some of the ones at 22k have been there 6 months and are just sitting there

He’s not giving much info at all in the description is he. No mention of servicing or preventative maintenance on the usual bits. Just ref cup holders! Looks nice though, non nav look is a big bonus imho. No cruise or elec folding mirrors. Can’t tell what hifi system.

Actually it must be LF78075 the only InterLagos MC in the uk with silverstone bi seats and carbon dash. One of 5 interLagos and silverstone with any dash.

Interesting as I would not look at one without nav as the CarPlay option is then not available to do

Yes I got the mileage wrong 🙈. Think I’ll adjust the price accordingly thanks for your opinions.

Got this info back from the Seller this morning -:

"Service history is pretty much complete with dealer and specialists (apart from the most recent oil service which I did myself with best quality oil (Castrol Edge 10w60) and filter).
I can confirm that the important first running-in check was done at 1168 miles, and the valve shim clearance check & adjust was done at the 45900 mile service. As I was deciding to put it up for sale I wasn't completely happy with the VANOS,so it's booked in for a replacement at Zedshed"

RMB, Apparently it has a "leather weave dash too" what ever that is ?

Leather weave, or carbon structure as it’s sometimes called, is the dash and tunnel trim that was exclusively fitted to the M models unless otherwise optioned.

That presumably refers to what BMW call Carbon Structure. It looks like it was built a CD changer but the standard stereo although it has heated seats.

Now you've done that I'd definitely rather have yours with the bearing shells replaced and newer suspension fitted!

But your location may be a limiting factor for some.

It definitely makes it a lot more competitive, however then another Z4MC appears today on AT with just 42k miles on complete with a suspension refresh and completely clean MOT history for less than 18k, they are becoming very good value :)
