Z4 no 4

Good description Andy. I've tried a 2.5i and I have a 3.0si... it does make one very curious about driving an M, but the running costs scare me off :)
 
I was the same before I went for the 3.0 si.

The M + servicing costs + VED + MPG did mean that even though the M would have been awesome it made more sense to go for the 3.0 si.
 
Great looking car Andy, just lacking a proper roof :rofl: Interesting comparison between the M and the si.

Still enjoying the coupe, off to Le Mans in it middle of June
 
So car dropped off at Indy earlier for round 1 of the trying to fettle the steering issue i knew when buying .
Along with full check over i'm also having the gearbox oil changed ( Millers 75W 90) as its on 93k no record of it being changed & i find it quite notchy 1-2-3 up to 25/30mins where it does get easier
That's the remedial stuff sorted , now for me the kid at xmas part
Wheels should be ready to collect tomorrow from powdercoaters , tyres waiting in garage so all being well by Saturday lunchtime the car will be on its new shoes :driving: i know many think the current set up is the best but a last minute change wafted under my nose on Monday so the 108s may not make the cut :wink:
 
It's a really nice Zed you have there Mr Wilks. Its clearly been cared for over it's 93k miles. Re the wheels, I personally like them, different from the norm. Seeing the car on Sunday, I think the graphite wheels against black look better in the flesh than in photos. Enjoy :thumbsup:

Well sit tight Gav :oops: might Instagram a pic tomorrow when tyred up :wink: they're a classic wheel but rarely seen on a Z4 8)
 
Please be a set of style 101's

Edit: I think I know what they are now though I still maintain my aspirations for it to be a set of style 101's.
