Number four :o , me thinks you have it bad Mr Wilks. Black does rather suit the Roadster though. 8)

Good luck sorting the electrical gremlins too, an interesting history on that car.. I'm sure a little Mr Wilks TLC will have it running like a charm. :)

Well that's interesting coming from the "Master of Rims"
I would love to hear about that adventure seeing as I have shied away from 2 sets because I was nervous about what damage the previews owners might have done while strong arming the fittings.

Well that was some testdrive :driving: 282miles to be precise with over 150 through the Aroad twisties of rural Wales from bottom to top
First leg from Swansea was riddled with plod but from Aberystwyth & into Snowdonia were free roads with no hassle , couple of pics en route either side of Bala
Car itself is a flyer , runs like a swiss watch , easy to get hoodwinked into thinking anything but a ///M is a stepping stone but the 3.0Si does everything so well & covers ground just as easy
"wowser" had polished the car in the week so it looked gleaming when i left , nice to meet you Ian & sorry i didn't hang around , the car felt tight & free of any squeeks, rattles or knocks . A credit to you mate :thumbsup:

Hi Andy glad you are back safe and sound. Brings back a lot of memories those shots in Snowdonia,spent a lot of time as a child and early years of married life with the kids. Post some pics when you are able.

Cayman was a very real contender at 1 point but after todays 150mile or so roof down through Wales i think the tintop would have been a spoiler :wink:

That was at Bala , just another 110miles to go by then :oops:
For a lot of the early part into the countryside from Swansea it could have been deepest Normandy other than there were other motorists , the speed limit constantly changed from 30-40-50-40-30-50-30-40 etc :cry: & i passed 3 mobile speed cameras within 50miles :thumbsdown: otherwise a great day
 
I'm surprised you went through Swansea at all from Newport. I thought you would have been up the A470 to Merthyr and over the Brecons via Rhyadaer to Aber?
