Car itself is a flyer , runs like a swiss watch , easy to get hoodwinked into thinking anything but a ///M is a stepping stone but the 3.0Si does everything so well & covers ground just as easy
"wowser" had polished the car in the week so it looked gleaming when i left , nice to meet you Ian & sorry i didn't hang around , the car felt tight & free of any squeeks, rattles or knocks . A credit to you mate

I can kind of get the idea of going back to a 3.0.…...you can drive them nearer their full potential than u can an m without scaring yourself. Don't get me wrong,the extra speed and grip of the m is good,but I used to go "foot to the floor" in my 3.0 fairly often,something in me holds back more in the m,as u find yourself doing higher speeds than u feel as though u are. Both are great cars.......for different reasons....back on topic,lol. Nice machine,black always looks so good on the e85

In direct comparison with a Si the ///M car is a flattering machine :wink: i spotted it within a a few miles pushing on once off the motorway .
it makes a average driver feel competent whereas you have to work hard & stay tuned to exploit the Si
No regrets as yet & will enjoy every mile

I m sure you will......the m does flatter due to the extra grip from the diff,but to really get the best out of the m you need to turn off the traction control and grab it by the scruff of its neck,which alot of people never do with them....both are immense fun though :evil:
