Wing Mirror (Strange Issue)

Hi,

Strange one this! I have recently bought my old Zed back from a fellow Forum member (that's another story!) however I have an Issue with the drivers side wing mirror.

I have to push the control button/switch on the drivers doorcard as far as possible to get my view right, to the extreme the glass is almost poking right out of the frame and even then I don't have my blind spot covered? I never had this issue before when I owned the car

I hope that makes sense! :?

Anything obvious I may have missed? Any ideas?

Give the mirror a gentle push (back into the housing) to see if it has come away from the backing plate?
