I'm with Markerstudy too!
The one I'm looking at doesn't do the 'parked' option, and most that do will only record the front of the vehicle, so unlikely to catch anyone dooring/keying/vandalising the sides/rear of the car.jimmybell said:Something positive then!
Any idea on what dashcam setup you're going for? This is something im increasingly considering. Do they record when car is off/parked for any length of time? I assume it's just a case of how much memory you have that dictates the length of recording.

Think I've got it covered.exdos said:Tony, you can't go wrong with that. Provided you're in the AA/RAC or similar, you've got all bases covered.![]()
Argenta said:Actually it was Fiat, and the first car was Croma in '88 I think.
Still a lot of Fiat engines eventually converted into Alfa ones, after Fiat luckily snatched Alfa in front of Fords grabby hands in 1987.
Fiat eventually sold the patent to Bosch. Suppose it's possible they needed more money in the 90's.
I love the busso V6 tho and I hope to buy a nice late red 75 3.0 from a friend later this summer.![]()
Not heard a peep from the bodyshop.srhutch said:Any news on when you will get you car back?
mmm-five said:Got an email from the insurer to say they're still investigating my complaint, but it's taking longer than expected due to the complexities of the matter.

When I finally picked up the courtesy car about a month ago, the bodyshop told me that the bodywork was almost finished and that they were surprised how easy everything came off & went back on, so I stupidly assumed I'd hear something shortly.mr wilks said:So almost 3 months after the incident & they haven't even started the fix :?
In other words, they'd never had the panels off one of these before?mmm-five said:When I finally picked up the courtesy car about a month ago, the bodyshop told me that the bodywork was almost finished and that they were surprised how easy everything came off & went back on
