What have you done to your car today?

Used Cerakote Headlamp restoration kit and really happy with the results.

Took about 45 mins in total and a lot better than the holts I had applied previously.

Will report back on longevity.

What engine do you have? Never managed above 34mpg on a 3.0si
N52B25 (2.5si). To be fair, after I put the fuel treatment in the tank, I reset the mpg counter and went for a long-ish drive which did not involve too much low gear work so I dare say the figures will come down a bit once I get back to doing the daily commute to work. I was still pleasantly surprised though.

Applying some UV headlight sealer will help keep them fresh. Or some UV proof PPF/headlight film.

Prepared everything to replace the water pump from underneath. The pit is not located where I usually do the work. Then I remembered to look for some instructions on how to replace the pump and found out the engine had to be lifted. I nearly gave up when I came across an idea how to lift the engine. Luckily one vehicle at home still had the emergency jack. Yay!

So I replaced the water pump today, along with it I planned to replace the bottom hose and the thin water hose on the side. I managed to replace the bottom hose but the other one won't come off in no way. The side closer to the cabin is giving me hard time. I sprayed it with penetrating silicone grease, but without success.
Any other idea how to get it off?
