What have you done to your car today?

Put in some Philips Xtremevision +130% H7s for the low beams. When these eventually blow I want to try the Osram +220% or the Philips GT200 next!
I'd love to so something about my pathetic low beams. Do you have before and after pics?

New tyres fitted today, finally ditched the run-flats for Pilot Sports!

Thought I’d try 32f n 35r tyre pressures; thoughts on this..?

Also, looking to get some tyre gunk. Would it be advisable to get an inflator too?
Something like this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Slime-CRK0305-Smart-Tyre-Repair/dp/B07L2YFTY9/ref=pd_bxgy_thbs_d_sccl_1/261-2093661-9996854?pd_rd_w=zLZjr&content-id=amzn1.sym.02820c73-8608-4218-9735-1554b4beb596&pf_rd_p=02820c73-8608-4218-9735-1554b4beb596&pf_rd_r=ZNNKSJJ2M5Z26AJ18X0Q&pd_rd_wg=1CDFH&pd_rd_r=f92ffc11-2729-4939-a4e1-1189bfc6b412&pd_rd_i=B003QHY000&th=1

Ms didn't have run-flats, just sealant and a compressor. But the sealant was missing when I bought mine it so I got some Holts Tyre-Weld in Tesco for less than a tenner as I've read it is fairly easy to remove in the event a tyre proves to be repairable.

But you'll definitely need an inflator of some sort after you use the sealant to get it re-inflated.

I don't know about tyre pressures for non-runflats on a 3.0si though, but hopefully someone on here will know what works.

My friends and I always ran M tyre pressures (32F/34R) in our non-run flat 3.0sis.

That's what I run in non-run flats on the 3.0si from previous forum knowledge (vague recollection of B21 mentioning it?) and seems to work well. It's a bit more tram-liney than the 2.5i on 16" wheels, but better if I keep the pressures at the forum wisdom.

Cheeky ‘ZHP style’ gear knob from the bay.
I enjoy an under one minute mod.

I like it, although I can’t really feel any additional weight and I suspect that’s the hooky fake factor.

Yesterday, not today...

Oil, oil filter and air filter.

Swapped the 19" Veemans for 18" MV3s, which sit pretty similar to how a Z4 Coupe wheel with 10-12mm of spacers would sit. Have to say... preferred the stance immediately, comfort a significant improvement... but I'm almost certainly going to refurn the Veemans and stick them back on.

Next job, choose the colour. Black Sapphire E86. They're graphite now, which I like... and I also like the colour they turn when they get dirty! Or maybe gold or bronze.

Oh - another thing... the tyre pressure warning light came on. The MV3s have been off of a car for at least 2 months, and maybe more like a year. They were definitely not been pumped in 5 or 6 weeks, and maybe not for ages before that. One of the fronts had 20 psi, the rest mid 30s... pumped them up and witing 5 mins the warning light came on. If a wheel holds to 20 psi for at least 6 weeks, and maybe 6 or 12 months, how quickly would you expect it to go from 32 psi all round to the tyre triggering the sensor? Or is it more likely a sensor issue?

1. We love photos.
2. Have you run the TPMS reset procedure on changing the wheels?

2. No. Will need to google!
From memory: be at a standstill with engine running, hit the TPMS button above the ashtray until the indicator in dash turns yellow, start driving. Light will go out by itself, and new pressure is set as default.

Correct:

Also works if you just drive off, a red warning light comes on, you get concerned and pull over, check your tires which are perfectly fine, go back in the car and press and hold the button because it's the only thing that comes to your mind, the light turns yellow, you drive off and the light disappears - basicly you perform the procedure without knowing it

Looking good. I like the MV3s, quite a lot actually... but I prefer MV2s for the "classy" look, but I am leaning towards OTT, not classy!

The MV3s are pretty scruffy up close, and the almost-new tyres are pretty much budget... but not too bad as a freebie to be chucked in when I paid £3,300 for an E91.

I really like those MV3s - it's good to see a Z4 with something different.

All I got with my E90 was a 2nd set of minging 158 wheels, although they did have winter tyres fitted!
