Also do you have spacers on the wheels?
Z4C_er said:Thanks Ben g. Oh what top mounts and springs did you use?

Hi mate, yes, I went for B4's and eibach springs
Honestly, it now rides bumps like an absolute dream. My OEM shocks were completely finished. All of them, when compressed, didn't come back up at all.
I only use urban roads with speed humps and a mix of A and B roads and I wish I could give statistics on ride quality improvement, because it's absolutely incredible the difference the new shocks and top mounts have made.
Regarding spacers, I have 12mm on the front and 20mm on the rear. It seems to give a nice stance and I like the way the wheels sit with them.

Take some pics. I'm stuck indoors tiling and painting!
Roads are so bad at the moment. I really hope they sort them over spring/summer because negotiating your average town centre is getting ridiculous now.

Exactly that, MACK! I can happily ride along now and not have to keep lifting off the throttle all the time. It makes a world of difference, not only to ride quality, but also to the enjoyment from the drive.
I'd say it's now on a par with the Fiesta ST 180 we also have, in terms of the ride firmness. Firm, but not uncomfortable. Although I can still drive the Fiesta quicker down a B Road due to the higher ground clearance. I always get a bit worried about bottoming out the Z4
Thanks for all the advice by the way, it helped a lot when I was wondering what products to buy![]()
