After vinyl wrapping my interior trim, I had a bit left over. Coincidentally I had been looking at the underside of my front bumper to inspect for rock chips as the bumper and paint are only 6 months old. I noticed a few nicks and thought that the thickness of the vinyl would be a good buffer. So I started to work on it. This is actually 3 pieces and is fitted as a test. I like the way it looks and I am sure it will keep most of the smaller road rocks from pitting it any further. I'm ordering some more black to redo this with a much better fit. The plan is to have the visible side about like this but have the entire underside of the bumper to be guarded.
Finally cleared the airbag error code, caused whilst i was repairing the snapped widow cable in the passenger door last year.
Carly read it, but wouldn't clear it.

With temperatures now >7C most days, replaced the Winter wheels / tyres and refitted them with my 19" 313M wheels with Eagle F1 tyres. Before the swop, cleaned the 313s, treated the rims with a coat of Gtechniq C2, the tyres with Gtechniq T1 and after the swop checked the tyre pressures and topped them up to 33psi F and 36psi R. All set now to fit Eibach Sport Springs and Eibach F&R anti roll bars followed by Hunter alignment check next week.

Looks better in person. Was mainly looking to play with this roll of vinyl I got.
I dunno man, looks like someone forgot to paint it or you replaced the cap/door handle and never got to it.

i'd black out the roof but other than that i think z4c looks great in a single colour.
Popped a new alternator on and rebuilt the disa valve, which bizarrely the pin was still tight after just passing 100k but had too much play in the flap and was also missing the main sealing 'o' ring so drawing air in past the MAF making it pink like a bitch. All sorted now, running lovely and smoothly, although I've lost some amusing induction roar. Hey well just have to do the foam removal mod.

That's a lot less hassle than your engine eating the disa valve John

Indeed Rob, it's an easy job well worth doing. What's not so easy is fishing a dropped screwdriver out from the undertray, ask me how I know..... :roll:
