My Z4 has just turned 17 and they really do feel younger than they are!

Took it out for a snowy spin on the industrial estate just round the corner. Good fun on summer tyres :driving: getting back into my spot proved challenging as there’s a small dip just in front with a steel grate in it :lol:
 
Today I washed, waxed and reproofed the soft top, used autoglym on all of it and quite happy with their products

Top tip, alloy wheel cleaner is not comfortable on your skin, so in future I'm going to buy some gloves!

Also had a visit to the zed shed over the weekend, full write up to follow!

Old bumper was broken and same as the grill and the down the center Grid. New bumper, new paint, new grill, new center grid, new Badge ... Lot of work with fine tuning.

Passed MOT with a bit of luck, just a minor advisory for license plate lights, tester had to give the bumper a "bump" to have one of the two to turn ON and pass :oops:

As soon as I got home I diagnosed that the cheap LED bulbs I put on 18months ago had prett much burned so I took the opportunity to open the lights, clean the algae build-up and re-seal and put new bulbs .

Also am very happy to have got compliment from the tester for the general state of the car, busting my *** for weeks on rear end refresh was useful :driving:

Wrapped my brushed aluminum dash pieces with a brushed black 3M wrap. 1st time trying to wrap anything and while not perfect I think it came out good. I think it would have helped to have a second person to hold the trim pies while I wrapped them!

Looking good . Centre console is fun just make sure you leave a full day or a couple of days spare to get it out / wrapped and put back in again . I found the knee pads the hardest bits to get off . Start at the point of the knee pad nearest the front of the car and once you have got a trim remover tool in get another one in front of it and then pull otherwise it keeps snapping back on :thumbsup:

UnSORNd and MOTd car today after winter maintenance. Genuinely good to drive petrol-power for a change and test out my flappy paddles :driving:
