What have you coded with Carly

Thought it might be an idea for us to share what we have coded with Carly. Just so we all get the maximum from it.
I have just done mine for the first time.

1. Roof close on the keyfob
2. Roof open/ close while driving slowly
3. Central locking activated on drive away
4. 3 flashes when nudging indicated stalk
5. Audible and visual indication when car is unlocked. Shows when you are in remote keyfob range
6. Front fogs come on with high beam

The guy who sits behind me at work had a few lamps lit on the dash of his 320 cab. Air bag I think. I mentioned the Carly app to him. Downloaded for a few quid. Next morning, no orange glow and he was singing it's praises. Simple little result. :)

where can I download the app from? Does it download on to an iPhone/Android/Windows based laptop?

You can find it in the app store on your phone or just type carly app for bmw into google.

I've done, on mine;

Boot locked when car locked (ie internal release deactivated)
One touch up on pass window (for some reason most E85's don't have it enabled)
Indicators flash when locked/unlocked
Alarm chirp when locked, but not unlocking
Windows continue opening/closing when ign turned off
Windows work with door open
Windows continue working for a time when ign turned off
Drivers comfort entry (window lowers when door opened after double tap on unlock - Handy for getting in when space is tight)
As above, but window then closes when door closed
Doors auto lock @ 2mph
Wipers go to intermittent when you stop moving
Wipers continue their sweep when ign turned off
Hazards double flash rate

Think that's my list complete...

Looks like I need to add some things to mine.
But as regards the comfort entry I can't see the value. Am I missing something? Why does the window open help you in tight spaces

there are third party carly adapters on ebay for £20. if it doesn't work i imagine paypal would sort you out with a refund.

as you can bend your body around the doorframe. so the top of your torso is where the window normally is?

Try it, it DOES make it a lot easier to get in from a tight space.
