I did a full write up with a products list here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53812JPB said:PerryGunn said:If it's a pre-facelift...
Sound deadening in the doors - gives them a nice solid 'thunk' when closing rather than the standard hollow 'tinny' sound
Just had a quick research - OMG what a difference! Is there any product you'd recommend? I've noticed one guy on youtube doing it with hardware shop-bought stuff but lots of people said it'll melt in the hot sun. Would like to get the proper stuff if I'm looking after a baby Zed of my own. Thanks![]()

My door mastic sound deadening stick on stuff from B&Q doesn't smell and hasn't melted.

It also includes the addition of door speakers but you can ignore that bit

I'm looking at a 3.0l, not set on colour choice yet. Good shout on the gear knob.
What do you think about a boot lid spoiler? (I'm aware that might be a little over £100)

Yeah, why not? They cost £15 and make it look and feel a lot more plush. That area, just above the door handle is the place you're going to be looking at all the time as you open the door, so why not make the entrance to your Zed look a bit nicer? And for how easy and cheap it is, I can't see why you wouldn't want to do it - unless one is traditionalist and wants to keep it as stock.
