Tempted...

Guys remember that this is the internet, we shouldn't get too offended about whats posted. We'll probably only ever meet the smallest fraction of people we correspond with online and those that we do meet we'll probably wish we hadn't.

The only opinions that count are the ones from people we care about (and mine of course).

You probably won't believe this but my second car was a Nova SR which I loved......In yellow

Now that really IS a turd that can't be polished...

how much is a full respray?

Upwards of £3k if you want it done properly from what little research I have done. Not worth it on a car costing this much - if you don't like the colour, buy a different one :idunno:

Yeh I agree, but at the time I thought it was great!
Looking back I know I should have gone for red instead, we all learn from our mistakes :(

Yes you should, it would probably have matched your eyes beautifully.

3K for a respray? seems a lot, but then considering a 1.5k discount + the additional charge you would have had to pay for individual colours ie 1k doesnt seem too expensive for the ideal car just in the wrong colour.(ps i like yellow)

I don't require an apology off you. I couldn't give a toss if you like yellow or not.
Saying you can't polish a turd actually does not mean you can't change things, it means you can't make something good out of something sh1t. Therefore you, rudely in my opinion, referred to my car colour as something sh1t that can't be made good.
Also It's not about having an opinion, its about the lack of intelligence used to put it across.
If I remember correctly, wasn't it you that was banned off another Zed forum for some of your comments?
Says it all.

I'm with you Carol, it was rudely put across, afterall we all love our cars for various reasons and to read someone is basically calling the colour of your car a turd, I don't get it. My Zed is the same as yours, just a different colour, so according to lux all our Zeds are turds.

One thing I have noticed on car forums is, those that own brand new cars appear far more critical when peeps do modifications etc or seem to rubbish other peoples cars which are basically exactly the same as in this case. It seems to happen less where older cars are the subject. Rarely get this on the Z3 forums, i.e. peeps come across more as genuine enthusiasts i.e. advice, helping each other with problems etc rather than owners who buy new cars frequent the forums with a snidy attitude and move on after two or three years.

Just my two penneth :)

Tim.

Is this because I didn't like your mud flaps Tim?
I thought forums were all about giving opinions (sometimes with banter) if you want me to kiss everyone's ass because they might start crying then you will be waiting for a long time. Grow up people for gods sake if you can't take criticism don't ask a question!! :x
