Tempted...

Right then, back to the OP's first post. Yes an IS would be nice but the price over a 'normal' 35i just feels wrong. If they'd put a bit more work in and 'M'd' it then maybe I wouldn't be as uncomfortable with the pricing but as it stands I'm struggling.

Would we have had one though if my budget had allowed it, yep in a heartbeat.

The deal i got on mine was very similar, however even if it hadnt been that good i still would have had it i think, as i loved the spec on it! if you like the yellow, not personally my favourite option (though i would rather have it than than white as i cant stand that!) then go for it. :D

It is more tricky with the top model of the range though. There is a small group of people that are interested in that top model, and if you limit that range even more with a challenging colour choice, you bound to be hammered come resale.

I don't think that is an issue on the entry model though and I have no doubt that you will have no particular trouble selling if you have that, as the buyers group is much larger, especially amongst ladies who would be more attracted to the more unusual colour.

Oh no, all the people with white ones are going to start crying that someone doesn't like their colour now! :slaphead:

I think you should go for it. It's a car to get noticed in. No one will be able to miss you in it. I think it is a cool colour and suits the car. And for the people looking the other way, the 'is' exhaust noise it makes will get their attention!!! I've seen an Atacama Yellow Z4 on the Wirral a few times and think it looks great. Better on the road than when looked at against a wall in the dealership compound.

I think I was a bit boring choosing black.

However, is it that much faster than the one you have already?

Chutters

Nothing wrong with Black Mr... I had mine professionally corrected and its like glass.. stunning.. when clean! I don't know if its that much faster than what I have, test drive awaits I think :) tbh the 35i is bloody quick...

How much is an entire respray?..if you can get a healthy discount you could just respray it....

Dear god I don't want it that much lol... its one that close by, there are cheaper 'is's out there so I'd consider those also.

i do like the yellow one but this one is mega cheap albeit slightly high mileage for the year http://www.approved.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/bmwauc/details/0,,1156___ask-19%40adm-xx,00.html?ch=_V0JBTE0xMjAwMEUzOTMxOTQ=&btp=1x24-price_ASC|list

i#ve said it before, i had a yellow honda prelude about 15 years ago and it was great but on a dull day it didnt half hurt your eyes looking at it . not sure i would want that much attention at my age and also because it stands out more than the other colours, it will no doubt attract some scrote who would vandalise it
