Maniac - I'm interested to see what you think of the difference between your 35i and the 35is once you have tested it. I guess yours will be the first objective assessment to read on here. Since reading your post a few days ago, I have been thinking about the few times I have really floored the car to take advantage of overboost and the 10% extra power. I've concluded that I don't thrash it enough and it is a shame the weather is crap so I can't thrash it tomorrow.

The last time I can remember giving it the beans was leaving a S5 (V8) for dead from the lights at the start of the M602. I am sure you know the ones....

I know its a bit late but well said Carol , everyone is entitled to an opinion but I agree we are supposed to be a community and we should treat each other with respect

Back on topic I went in to the dealers a couple of weeks ago and their demo / showroom z4 is in Atacama and in the tin I have to say it looked amazing , in fact it has made it on to my possible choice for next years vechicle change , the other choice is space gray with coral red int , certainly gives me something to think about
 
lol Lux... I was just reading an article where a guy had spent ages covering the cheap plastic in the e89 with alcantara, something I loved, he'd clearly spent a huge amount of time removing panels, recovering with this material etc. ... and you said 'its a pile of crap IMHO'... now I understand what Carol was talking about when she said you were banned... you don't mince words do you!

Yes freedom of speech is so over rated

.....or if we new where people lived, would they be so inclined to be offensive in a forum. It's unlikely that you would go up to someone in the pub and say where do you keep your hairdressing equipment or that their car is a turd that can't be polished and not expect to get a black eye. :D
