There you see, excusing your bad mouth with the word 'banter'.
I call it an inability to put a point across in an intelligent and concise way.

We have loads of banter on here and I'm usually in the thick of it and you'll never see me crying over anything that's said on here but then most people (bar the odd few) don't make crass comments about other people's cars.

Most can take criticism (that's the correct way to spell it by the way) if its put across in an acceptable way.
I suggest you go back to the Zpost forum if that's what you're used to......oh, I forget you can't. They banned you.
 
Let's just leave it there and draw a line under all this. We all now know that I don't like the yellow colour and I don't like Tims mud flaps, I'm sure I'm not the only one!
But yes not eveyone says so I understand, I am getting stick for being honest (sometimes too honest by the look of things) and ok not everyone has my sense of humour.

Not at all, you didn't like them, fair enough, I remember you said it completely ruined the car, which I didn't agree with but hey ho like you said theyre just opinions. However there is fine line and to me an ettiquate and ways of putting it across so not to appear insulting. I've done it myself and its easy to do on the internet. Ironically with one of Carol threads where I put a reply which didn't come across well. But I think there is a difference between saying I don't like yellow cars they suck as opposed to you can't polish a turd for which I think the latter term is offensive.

I don't think I'm something special no, not all all but what I am not is impolite. I would never ever dream of calling someone's car a 'turd'.
I chose that car and colour and got excited when I collected it etc, etc and for someone like you to refer to it as a turd and you say I think I'm something special for sticking up for myself?

Secondly the term meant that you can't change some things even if you want to, they are what they are.
I never said your car looks like a turd!!

Carol M's mummy bought her up to not be rude to people whether face to face or in keyboard warrior guise. You'll only find me starting to get rude when I've had enough of someone or something.

You referred to the colour as a turd. My car is that colour therefore you think my car colour is akin to a turd. Or is that too difficult for you to work out?

It's not about the straw that broke the camels back at all. I've been on here for nearly a year and there's the odd few that take any opportunity to say stuff about the colour and I usually just give them some banter back as I don't really care what they think to be honest. If I was going to get p1ssed it would've been long before now.
You, however stepped over the banter line. One by referring to my p&j colour as a turd and two by referring to my arse as being big and three, that I think I'm something special.
No, you haven't been on here long and its clearly not been long enough to notice that there's not really any arseholes on here. We are generally a friendly lot who help each other, have a laugh and a bit of banter. The biggest being the roadster vs the coupe crew which is ongoing but always good natured.
I don't think I've ever read anything rude directed in a personal way to anyone on here. Not saying there hasn't been but I've not seen it that I can remember.
You don't have to like yellow coloured cars but you can say it in a less offensive way surely and it might be prudent to be less personal to people, especially ones you don't know personally. Apology accepted and thank you for it.
