Whereabouts are you hoping to go? I'll be just outside Perranporth: same place we went for Xmas/NY.

I'll keep the old eyes peeled.
If you get flashed by a blue, new shape 1-series, with VAL on the plate, it'll be us.

Nice route, especially if the sun's out. You can see it isn't fast though - average just over 20mph

There'll always be a split of who can make what days.. if its the Sunday I should be able to.. and yes the roads are slow along the coast but its a beautiful road.. lots of good pubs along the route for lunch too.. ferrymans arms in Salcombe has the best views but parking would be problematic with more than a small number of cars..

Yeah it's not a fast road, but plenty of room for 2nd gear blasts around the bendy roads. I love this route, sunny is the plan!

I'm thinking of calling ahead to the pub at Hope Cove. If we leave Exeter after a morning coffee we will reach Hope Cove for around lunchtime
