Join us as we take a winding picturesque journey through the South coast of Devon in our Z4's! (Prev Z4 owners who now own R8s, or other sports cars still welcome!)

Starting in Exeter at the Moto services car park for strong coffee between 8.30am - 9.30am on 22nd May, get to know your local (or not so local) Z owners.

Starting location is here: Dropped pin
https://maps.app.goo.gl/PQwemy7Dz9pfuRzHA

Planning to set off at 9.30am onto the M5 Southbound, leading onto the A380 for a good dual carriageway blast through the surrounding forestland.

Shortly followed with turning off towards Starcross for the coastal route via Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, Dartmouth, Slapton Sands, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, and ending up at Hope Cove. Those who don't know the route are in for a treat. We have ordered sunshine!

Should arrive at Hope Cove for lunchtime. Once we estimate numbers we can call ahead to the pub and see if they can sort out a lunch and shandy booking, amidst the current situation (so we don't need to bring our own picnic šŸ˜‚)

Any questions just ask. I have set this up myself, I haven't met any other zedders yet.

More info and updates coming soon.

Woop!

Tom

Yes I'd be up for it depending on the date! We did a meet at the end of 2019 before lockdown over the moors and there are quite a few members near by. Rob

Sounds interesting, keep us updated :)

Will do! šŸ‘

Looks good & sounds good, I'm in, providing a B & B can be booked. Exeter is a 4 hr drive for me.

Providing it's open to anyone that is?

I'm interested depending on dates. I live in Torquay, know this area pretty well and try to find good biking roads for when I'm on my KTM. The coastal area is okay but there's an awful lot of speed limits and traffic, especially through the villages at the end of Slapton straight, which is the one in the pic.

If you want any suggestions for better driving roads let me know.

dont count on it, I think the west country will be rammed grockles as soon as lockdown ends. and causing all sorts of queues in campers or caravans :D

It's the cliff top ride thats the whole idea though, want as much roof down scenery as well as the sweeping roads. I live in East Dartmoor and know the roads in South Devon well too. There's just something about the Dawlish to Kingsbridge cliff route with the roof down that does it for me. šŸ‘

We'll let a bit of time pass after the initial un-lockdown rush anyway. And hopefully accommodation will still be available somewhere
