Saw some sun today for an hour or so - had to make a choice - take the zed out or cut the grass - unfortunately Mrs Gov did not look best pleased when I indicated that as we had been away on holiday it might be necessary to give the zed a bit of a run to loosen it up after being stuck in the garage for two weeks. All my reasoning fell on stoney ground but I 'm not one to be dictated to by my better half so I asserted my authority and cut the grass !! sodding stuff had grown so long it took me all afternoon !! Lets hope tomorrow has some sun and I can assert myself again ( if she lets me ! )

I know exactly how you feel. Just had to do the same this evening... I think there were things living in our grass it had got so long. Done now, but the forecast is crap for the next few days.
The real problem is that grass cutting and (open top) zed driving require the same main ingredient... sun

Managed a quick blast today - grabbed a window of opportunity just as Murray looked like he was going down in the 4th set - when I got back it was all over and he was blubbing - felt sorry for the fans ! Good to feel the power of the zed again after 3 weeks in the garage and managed to miss the remaining puddles that hadn't dried up to bring her home without a speck of dust. dirt or splash of water !! Think I need counselling or an appointment with a psychiatrist !!

I did this with cooking not long after getting married - managed to burn lasagne, instant permanent ban
If it stays dry I will have to cut the grass today though, before any car washing will be acceptable... And since there is a man coming to fix my windscreen I think that'll have to wait till later anyway
