The Z behaves very well at winter, given you have good winter tyres with practical dimensions for driving in snow .. (narrow tires)
In my M roadster I crossed the high mountains in Norway (1200 metres) at late winter, with snowy and icy roads.
(Usually the car spent the winter hibernating but this was a special occasion)
The route turned out to be more than I bargained for, with slow progress and night approaching.
But I was very positively surprised by the performance.
I contribute a big part of that to the winter tyres which were top of class.
And then on our way down there was the 40 or so people stuck in the uphill climb trying to get up the mountain, but unable to do so bc of the icy roads.
Their surprise seeing a high performance sports car coming down from the mountain they were not able to climb. LOL
I enjoyed seeing their faces, some of them with a puzzled WTF expression.
If you have DSC on, and take it easy you will do fine. Excellent tyres and intelligent driving seems to be a big part of the equation.
Even got some photos from that day, taken before we arrived at the worst part where conditions went from fair to terrifying. You can get a taste of what most of the rest of the road looked like in the sideways picture, except there were much more polished ice.
Safe and sound across I needed a 5 minute break to calm the nerves before continuing. LOL
