You thought that was bad .. what about the upcoming X2:

whaaaaatt... !!? they've clearly gone mad.. isn't there an X1, X3, X5, X6 already? I guess an X4 is coming?! This is almost as funny as the Range Rover Evoque Convertible... that WASN'T a joke.. they're actually making it!

Isn't there already an X4?

Anyway discussions about X models is a bit irrelevant on the thread about the M2.

I don't really get the comments about the M4 really.
If you've got £45k to get a new car (and you want a brand new car) then the fact that the M4 is available for £15k higher than your budget is a bit irrelevant isn't it? The M2 is a different segment to the M4 and that's why the power and performance has been tailored to the level it has. Perhaps a more relevant question is "Is there enough extra in an M2 to justify the premium over an M235i?". I looked at an M235i this morning in Sytner and its ok but it's not exactly a head turner.

But great discounts on the M235i ;)

And they can be made a very rapid for little money.......

Thats if you want a 2 series of course..........

Yes there is an X4 its what im hoping to move on to

hmm, why? I guess it's a mini X6?

In a way yes - based on the X3 but with a coupe rear end - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/bmw/x4/

I find the X6 too big, too expensive but this looks great, is exclusive and in a year or so should be more affordable

I think it looks compact and muscular with it's short overhangs pumped up arches. I'm glad they have kept the rear bumper simple and not given it the M3/4 treatment which I think really spoils the rear end of those cars.
The wheels really fill those arches, where as on the M3/4 there's a lot of space between wheel and arch that I don't think looks great.
I think they've taken a relatively dull looking car and made it look exciting, best looking BMW since the E86

A little OTT with all the power sliding lol.

Tim.

That's a cool video from bmw, looks even easier to slide than the 235i drift mob video, need to see it in the flesh - in black
