Hi guys . Merry Christmas, hope everyone's having a nice break .
No real update at the mo sorry. Both hoods are at there respective bodyshops . Was hoping to get mine on before Christmas, but they were too busy . May be going on this week if they get a slot , if not it'll be straight after new year. My roof won't be going on until the spring , when I'll be having a few other bits done at the same time . Waiting to hear back from the non vented guy to see how he got on . Will let you know as soon as I have any news

arhhhh i didnt see this and messaged you , sorry brother!! cant wait to get more info on the hood fitments etc... please keep us all updated.

I chatted with a guy on FB (black car) who had one. He didn’t have any issues at all and I did ask him about quality/ fitment.

Thanks Jock . Were any photos posted by the people that got them via Byron in this post as I have searched but not found anything .

Hi guys .
Sorry for the delay in updating everyone.
Just got in from work so will update the thread properly in detail tomorrow.
But basically. I bought the vented bonnet and roof . The roof seems to be all good . (Yet to have it fitted ) the bonnet on the other hand is crap. Had it fitted . Fitment is fine but the quality of the weave is shocking ! Big lines running from the vents to the tip of the bonnet on both sides . Only option is to have it sprayed . When I contacted skyer , we came to the agreement that he would pay for the spray costs . After months and months of me emailing and messaging I'm no closer to seeing the money . I email or message . He takes a couple of weeks to respond . Each time with a different excuse . The blokes a prick to put it bluntly . He has no intention of paying , but rather than man up and just say it , he'd rather just string me along . My advise to you is not to do business with him . Wanted to update the thread sooner , but was holding on to some hope he might pay up and didnt want to come on here and out him before i was sure what the outcome would be . Will post pictures and messages so you can see what your dealing with tommorow when I have time .

What a pain and I can understand why you have`nt posted until now . Hate being pissed about by people who obviously have no intention of resolving the problem . Look forward to reading your update .

Very very upset to read this got here...... the treatment from skyer in my opinion has been nothing short of just unacceptable. ive checked in with david as much as possible and every single time my heart drops with the messages back. Completely unacceptable and sadly i can not recommend skyer to the Uk community based on the treatment of the OP. Important everyone understands , i was approached by skyer / the customers to have a business location to get these here, this was never a something initiated by me, i dont want anyone thinking ive had a hand in poor parts being dished out to my fellow z4 people. i simply would NOT do that. This Was a test run to see how it went with skyer / the customers and i can confirm i wiLL NOT be assisting with the movement of these parts to the uk network .

HOWEVER....... david, ive got an idea. ill be on the blower TODAY.......... If skyer wont step up..... i WILL.

Sheesh, that’s sad to hear, and maybe even sadder that it’s not entirely surprising. I’ve heard very similar stories on their aero skirt replicas; gaps between the panel and body of over an inch, improper mounting points, and zero support when it comes to finding a solution. I really hope you can come to a workable outcome [ref]Barrett.d[/ref]!

[ref]Beedub[/ref], while I’ve never met you in person I’d just like to say you come across as an absolute stand-up guy. You stand for your company and its clients, and that’s something hugely commendable  Sadly we’ve got Skyer to show us how not to do it…

I plan on going down the Göke Carbon route. They build various panels for the Z4, including bonnets, roofs, and even tailgates. When I move forward with the bonnet and roof I’ll make sure to update. From what I’ve seen so far is that the fit and finish is excellent, and communication so far has proven clear and quick. If there’s any way I can help, I’d be more than happy to.
