Scottish meet - 7/8th August 2010 - Skye!

Cheers for the offer but this has been the excuse i have been looking for to get the tent I have always wanted ... had a lucky escape been bidding on one but lost out ... turns out nevis sport are doing it brand new for only 30 quid more than the second hand one was going for.

Any latercomers are still welcome to sign up :)

Suppose I'd better look out my camping stuff and attempt a trial packing of the Z4. Managed it fine when my mate and me were away in June for a couple of nights, should be OK again this time. Just need to ensure the boot shelf stays down for some roof-down action...

Just bought a life venture midge hood when in Black's ..........could be useful on the trip from the campsite to the pub.....makes you look like a bee keeper but they do keep you sane.

lets hope we have a sunny but pretty windy evening.......

And the best accessory to go with a midge net is a big straw - that way you can still drink your beer without having to raise your midge net :icb:

bringing both BBQ for Saturday night and and a stove for my bacon butty and coffee Sunday morning.

I bet you ALL end up in the hotel for breakfast... :poke:

Really looking forward to this, TBH if the sun is out it would be great, But the mountains look spectacular when shrouded in clouds with a bit of rain, Either way it's a great drive.

Any of you lot play poker?? Me and the Mrs love it, but we never play for money, just for the fun of it if any one fancies a game Saturday 8)

Depends - will car keys be at stake?

 No..As I said we don't play for any financial gain, just for the banter and the game.

Never really played poker, used to play a lot of Crib years ago, penny a point and all that.

I just had to check back and see exactly what your comment referred to. Just glad it's referring to poker stakes and not bowls of keys........ :o

Just spotted something: 9 Z4s and not a single coupe among them

 Next time a11y, next time - then you can marvel at the lines, the poise and elegance of a proper sports car :D
Hope it doesn't rain too much so you're all cramped up underneath your tent top.

Looking forward to the pics from this.

As you know it's one of my favorite places to drive.

Have a great time folks :)
