I don't know if it'll be any use to you, but Tiso are doing a "festival" camping pack - Vango tent (2 or 3 man), 2 roll mats and 2 Vango sleeping bags for £65 or £75. It's on the website but apparently also available instore as well. Think that's the route I'm going to go down.

Did I mention I will be sleeping in a nice big double bed and have ensuite facilities to hand and some chappy in the kitchen cooking my breakfast.

There is no need for such smugness and to think I was going to offer to let you try my Clear lights in your Zed next weekend, to see how they looked as they would have only taken 10 mins to change.
We brave campers will have ensuite facilities, more commonly known as the great outdoors, plus a little lady cooking our breakfast (in my dreams).

I will gladly throw a piece of bacon from the dining room table across to you in the campsite One week to go and all us campers will be enjoying a glorious sunny morning as we pack up our tents and take in the amazing scenery. Well, that's what I'm imagining in my head, but if it's not like that then don't blame me
I was up north in Fort William yesterday following the same route up we'll be taking on this trip. Nothing much to look out for other than the roadworks in the middle of Rannoch Moor, but they didn't cause much of a hold-up. Approx 2hr15min non-stop from Stirling to the Nevis Range (just north of Fort William) in a fully-loaded Fabia vRS with 2 bikes on the roof, so I'll check that against google's calculations...

Well, that's the car just been washed/polished/sealant applied in anticipation for the weekend. Also debadged and looks so much better (although I did leave the z4 on the back). Will probably give her another wash and apply some wax on Thursday or Friday.

JimmyPop, ZermattV, if either of you need it, I have a spare tent I can bring - will just be using my little 2 man pop-up.

PawnSacrifice/Siftah - what are you guys planning for Friday night? Staying up here somewhere or somewhere between your homes and here? I stay approx 5mins from M9 J5 where there's a Premier Inn, Travelodge and also a Metro (budget) hotel. There's other Premier Inn / Travelodges around Falkirk/Stirling too including at the services itself, as well as a Premier Inn 2 mins from the services at Whins of Milton (Pirnhill).

We're bringing what's supposedly a 4-man tent for the 2 of us, no idea where they get these sizing guides from...

We 'ahem' Scots (can I wear my England rugby shirt) must have a superiour knowledge and taste.
Just found out I have to leave home at about 2:30 on the Monday morning to catch a flight from Durham Tess Valley at 6am. I'm starting to think a round trip from Naples for a weekend in Skye maybe wasn't such a good idea afterall.
