Well I had Bruce Springsteen blaring out - Born in the USA and Born to Run albums

Richard, did you do the same mod as Pawn?

No, he did the same as me :P .

It's an M wheel with Tri-Colour stitching, paid £150 from ebay for it, then fitted the standard wheel spokes as it was supplied bare. You can actually get the standard M Wheel with black Multi-Function spokes for about £250. there's a recent thread in the buy and sell section or check out the joe@sopers thread, the spokes are stupidly expensive to buy seperately.

As for Bruce, his last album was the best he's done in years, I can never listen to Outlaw Pete once it always gets repeated at full volume.

Well I'm hoping to get the //M MFSW when I have some spare cash (or as a birthday present from Kirsty....)

As for Bruce, I saw him play Hampden last year - one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Bloody amazing.

Good luck with the birthday pressie jimmypop - thought you were too young to dig Springsteen - very glad you do -seen him 6/7 times now and every time he's amazing - his work is 50% of the soundtrack of my life...the other 50% ? - zep -sorry hijacking this thread to a music chat...had a blast in the Zed along the mennock pass today - not far from here/you - not up to Selvio pass standards but excellent fun and slightly strange scenery..try it some day...sample pics to follow - maybe another thread :driving:

I love Bruce - his music is absolutely timeless! Kirsty quite likes him too - think I have a few photos of us singing Born to Run in a karaoke bar in the Dominican Republic somewhere (we were slightly worse the wear at the time...)

Sounds like you had a nice drive today. I had a wee blast out in the Zed today, but nowhere too far. Every time I'm in your neck of the woods now I keep an eye out for you!

As for the birthday present - think it's probably wishful thinking!

One week on, the midgie bites staring to disappear now. Finally got round to washing the car yesterday, Probably the first time I have not been in a hurry to wash it as I enjoyed getting it Dirty, Some of those bugs on the front bumber were a twat to shift :x

Just thinking I'll give mine a go!

An old bath towel, soaked in soapy water and draped over the front of the car for a while - should soften them all up nicely and then they'll come off with a hose

Ha - same technique as me... one I took from getting the insects off of my motorbike hemlet - place kitchen roll / napkins (if I'm on the road) over the worst areas and pour water over them. Leave a while and wipe off.

Or, if you're like Tweed, hit and insect, stop the car and wipe it off. Maybe that's why he didn't make Scotland :?

That's exactly where I got the idea too - I started to add that in the original post but must have deleted it before posting :)

Did you not know? I actually have no interests in Z4's whatsoever, I don't even usually drive. I've been employed by Tweed to drive round in front of him and clear winged beasties out of the way for him... :P

It's funny because it's true!

Poor Tweed. I'm sure he'd be gutted at these comments (if he wasn't too busy thinking about the next product he's buying to wash the car!)

on the Dodo Juice stand at Gaydon i bought a Dodo Juice tool bag to keep all my lotion's in..... how sad is that...

must admit very impressed by the guy's who run Dodo Juice pretty down to earth bunch...

Great pictures, looks like you all had a great time. Skye is stunning! I've never been to Scotland, perhaps I'll have a wander over to this Islay thread...
