New TopGear tonight 8pm BBC2

First Top Gear I've watched that didn't provide one laugh
Good point , there was always laughs & amusement with the 3 amigos , this set up felt orchestrated & strained :(

An opportunity missed by the BBC - same old format, script etc.....

An hour of my life I won't get back. I watched the whole show to see if things improved, unfortunately not. :headbang:

I won't be setting any reminders to watch this again

Surely the BBC can do better than this

Well that has freed up an hour on a Sunday evening that I had provisionally put aside. What a load of crap. Could have easily been improved with more of Sabine Schmitz.

Very disappointed to be honest, as others have said missed opportunity by the BBC to start fresh but all they have achieved is to promote how the three stooges own that format and no one else can come close.

The only way for the BBC to succeed is to change the format, bit late for that now me thinks.

Won't be rushing to watch the rest

Didn't bother with it, seems like I made the right decision. Interested to see Chris Harris, that's about it

Highlight for me was the footage of Gordon Ramsay being taken out in that football match. Chris Evans is woeful, Matt LeBlanc certainly made it easier to watch but sadly not a patch on the original.

Wasn't watched in our house and sounds like we didn't lose out with that decision..........how'd they manage to make it worse than the "posh schoolboys" version :o
Chris Evans is very grating on R2 so I'm guessing even worse on this......won't be wasting any Sunday evenings watching this.

Oh dear, that's a very poor TG relation, and Chris Evans was quite annoying. The stars cars was really cringeworthy. The whole format is so disjointed.
The extra gear program format with Chris Harris wasn't great either why did they try the big brother little brother format I don't know - it's like spreading s**t across two slices of bread rather than one.

Not a great start, definitely not as good as previous TG, and at this point not even as good as fifth gear.
Don't Know what they can do to turn that around, although do think chrisH Sabine and Matt could potentially be a good mix.

Clarkson will be able to sleep well tonight.

I forgot it was on, as I often did with the original so no change there. However, I am watching Top Gear:Extra Gear, and it does not do enough to sell the show to me.

I do like Chris Harris, Rory Reid tries hard and they work well together.

Too many echoes and I am also not a fan of the ginger one. BUT I would watch it if I stumble upon it.

Sounds like I didn't miss much and won't be rushing to see on catch up

Let's face it though if you don't like Chris Evans then you were never going to like this :poke:

We are certainly being starved of a decent petrol heads to show - perhaps PH should make one lol

I thought it was good ! Think we need to give them a bit of time to gel. I'll give it a few weeks
